Technology solutions provider ePlus inc. today announced in a company press release that it was recognized as the Check Point Americas Cloud Partner of the Year.

Working in partnership with Microsoft, Check Point acknowledged ePlus for its best-in-class MSP and CloudGuard policy management assessment offerings, as well as achievement in executing the Secure Migration program. The Secure Migration program is an integrated offering providing customers with a path forward from end-of-life Microsoft products, aimed at driving digital transformation via cloud adoption.

Ken Farber, president of Software, Partner Alliances, and Marketing at ePlus commented on what sets the company apart from the competition by saying: “Securing data and access to data in the current environment of remote workforces makes cloud security a much more complex and difficult challenge to navigate. What sets ePlus apart is our ability to deliver a comprehensive approach that taps into our expertise in every area – from product and cloud knowledge to enhanced maintenance support and managed services – or even financing when our customers need it.”

The technology solutions provider wins the Award at a time where people and businesses are adopting cloud at a quicker rate than ever before with the Hosting Tribunal discovering that 90% of companies are now on the cloud.

Virginia-based ePlus claims to have a team of over 1,500 associates across the globe with over 650 of them being certified on the latest technologies to be able to serve its globally recognised clients across various sectors including educational, manufacturing, governmental, energy, healthcare, and financial services.

The technology solutions provider writes that cloud-based security has been top of the companies mind for its customers during the pandemic. ForePlus claims to have been working tirelessly to implement flexible security solutions that enhance visibility, compliance, and controls around multi-cloud workloads as a result of the pandemic bringing the new concern for its customers.

“ePlus is an Elite Managed Service Provider who is constantly looking for ways to help their customers navigate the best and most effective ways to secure workloads in the cloud,” said Frank Rauch, Check Point head of worldwide channels. “We’re delighted to present ePlus with the Americas Cloud Partner of the Year Award and to partner with them every day to help customers implement and enforce security best practices.”

The technology solutions provider is not the only one to be picking up Awards for its commitment to improving its customer’s business processes with Datadog winning at the AWS Public Sector Partners Awards.

ePlus recently launched a portfolio of Public Cloud Managed Services that supposedly enable customers to securely deliver services in public cloud platforms in a cost-effective manner, including AWS and Azure.

Part of this offering is the ePlus Cloud Security Monitoring, powered by Check Point Dome9. This enables the technology solutions provider to perform an on-going risk assessment and a better understanding of risk profiles with the goal to maintain and strengthen the security posture of AWS and Azure deployments for its valued customers.
